Drink

Drink was set up initially as a bottle shop and tastingroom by the now closed Bridestone brewery, after the 2015 boxing days floods Bridestones decided to cease trading and Drink was turned into a bar and bottle shop by one of the brewers. In 2019 I (Liz) took ownership, coming from 15 years experience within the industry running bars for other people (most notably 1/2 of the Vocation breweries owners), I decided I wanted my own place, this perfectly matched to Drinks then owner wanting to move on. Drink has undergone a full refurbishment and now has full cold storage for all products, a newly created meeting room for the town to use for free, local deliveries via cargo bike (with refrigeration) and pride itself on being a fully inclusive and safe space. All management are female and queer and are truly proud to champion amazing products from craft producers in a welcoming and inclusive environment (and our piano is razzle dazzled)
